Back on home soil

Ahoy, me mates! Over the past few weeks, I had said that I was "oot and aboot". By that, I meant that I was traveling. Specifically, my wonderful companion and I visited the beautiful East Coast of Canada. Our first stop was Halifax, Nova Scotia. After spending the night there, we drove out to the famous Peggy's Cove, where I got the itching to dance. Watch this!
Come Sail Away
Ahhhh, the scenery was so peaceful. And so was my dancing. Moving along, here is a picture of me posing amongst the rocks.
After visiting Peggy's Cove, we drove East to take the ferry over to Newfoundland. And that's where my recap will continue on Thursday. Later, b'y.

Welcome to Nova Scotia lad! Make sure you buy yourself a real Sou'wester while you're here or in NFLD...where is it you are from exactly? See what our beautiful country is all about, and enjoy your stay.

Hi. I'm back on the West Coast now, but it was a great two weeks over on the other side. In this week's posts, I'm just recapping the trip I just got back from. Sorry for any confusion.

The best part about you and G finally getting married is that once you have kids, you'll be able to embarrass the heck out of them when you dance in random places like this. I liked the two people in the background. I'm sure they were wondering whether or not you'd forgotten to take your meds.

Hi DD,

Nice dancing among the rocks with the lighthouse behind you...I thought you were going to be on Canadian Idol? Anyways, that's what "DD's sister" said. Peace out.

I love the exotic sights! I love the newfie dances you do. I just love watching you dance! I always have a great laugh. When I saw you do the Freestyle dance I almost peed my pants!

I was happy to see a part of Canada I always am intrigued by. Glad you are back.

It looks like you missed dancing the two official songs of Nova Scotia ... Helen Reddy's "You're So Vain" and Translator's "You're Everywhere that I'm not" both mention Nova Scotia ....

My Husband and I were there for an anniversary a few years back. and lord, lobster by the bucket ... I loved that you could get a McLobster sandwich at McDonalds there....

You the largest man-made explosion (prior to the Abomb) happend in Halifax Harbor during WWI when two munitions ships colided. Many people were blinded and the city of boston sent up lots of doctors, especially eye surgeons. The municipal Christmas tree in Boston is an annual gift from the city of Halifax.

I also loved the quiant town of Lunenberg and basalt rock formations at Digby Neck

dance on

You absolutely rock. I'm new to DailyDancer.com, but I can see I'm going to become a new regular. It seems like I picked a good time to start, too, since you were just in good old Newfoundland and that's where I live.

Stay awesome! :)
