100 percent gangsta, minus the bling bling

You might realize why I didn't post my Pump Pump dance back when I made it. Well, I'm not sure if a white boy dancing to Snoop Dogg would go down well in the hood. You know what I'm sayin'? You know what I'm sayin'? Ummmm... I think that I shouldn't be sayin' anything else.
Well, moving right along, I have a dance that Norman has been requesting for a while. Enjoy!

Bet you didn't expect me 'til Wednesday

While looking through my list of song requests, I found that one fan (Danielle) wanted me to dress gangsta and do a rap song. That instantly reminded me of a video I made three months ago, but decided not to use. So, here it is, straight from the vault! WARNING: EXPLICIT LYRICS!

Hmmmmm... Maybe I should dress like that when I go to work... Ummmmmm, no. See ya!

Why wouldn't I like to move it, move it?

Oh yeah! Another week of dances coming your way! Are you excited? I'm excited. Well, let's get right to my first video of the week, requested by Julia by e-mail.

Walk Like an Egyptian
Man! I think those dance lessons are paying off. You might not notice it, but I've been sneaking in new moves here and there. I am getting a bit bummed with my current instructor, though. All she does is teach the class a new choreographed routine every week. Instead of using basic building blocks to help students develop their skills, she seems to make it her "look how well I can dance and choreograph" show. I found another dance school that I am going to try out very soon. It looks like something that will suit my needs much better. Anyhoo, I shall go to work now. There's a new guy starting on our team, and I must help him get settled. Au revoir!

She drives me crazy, but I love her

You know who I am talking about. Not the hippo, but that wonderful person who holds the camera and controls the music. She drives me crazy and I can't help myself. Speaking of driving me crazy, how did you like my impersonation of Roland Gift? You know, that great Fine Young Cannibals singer? Gotta love his soft, high-pitched, voice! If you really do like my singing, then I may do some more in the future... but with my normal voice, though. I might even throw in a few guitar chords with that.
I have a really good dance video for you today. Well, I liked it. You might not. But, I think you will.

I Like to Move It
I don't have any more to say this week, so I shall go. Actually, I always have more to say, but I must cut myself off at some point. And off I am cut!

Everything is bigger in Texas

The stars at night are big and bright... Hey! So, how did y'all like Texan gal Terry? I thought she did a great job! Where was that dance filmed, anyway? It certainly was not the living room. :)
That poor ol' hippo is still hanging out on the couch. Maybe I'll leave him (I guess it's a him) alone today and dance around him. With that said, here is my latest video!

Many of you have asked how I put my videos on my blog. I've answered the question before, but I would like to point you to a site that explains it much better. That site is freevlog.org. And for more of your reading pleasure, Part II of the Daily Dancer interview is available. Click here to read it! I hope that is enough to keep you all busy until Friday. Au revoir for now!

Was I really abusing that hippo?

Hey! I was just "dancing" with that hippo. You know, that activity I like to do often? Nothing to worry about... :)
Today, I am here to introduce another guest dance video. This one was sent in by Texan gal Terry. Enjoy!

And whoomp, I'm back!

Yes, I'm back for another week of fun and excitement! I had a great weekend. On Saturday, I went to my third hip hop dance class. I did much better this time, as the routine was a repeat of that from my second class. The classes are hard, but I am determined to get better (without losing my original Daily Dancer flare, of course). At $12 a class, though, the cost does add up. Because of this, I am starting a way for my fans to help me pay for my dance classes. See the sidebar for the donation button.
I know of at least two Daily Dancer fans who have had birthdays this past weekend (hey, Kim and Pam!). One of them requested a song that I will dance to today...

Yeah! Now, before I leave, I shall point you to an interesting interview done by a regular visitor. Click here to go there! I'm sure you will enjoy it. Bye!

I can appear in your dining room, too!

If you have seen yesterday's video, you may have wondered how I got into my guest dancer's home. Well, the answer is simple! I make house calls. Yep! If you pay my transportation costs, and then give me good organic food and a nice place to stay, then I will dance with you in the comfort of your own home. Oh, and I cannot travel without that special person I love. :)
Well, while the house call idea isn't so far-fetched (who wouldn't refuse a free trip?), the truth is that my guest dancer was my girlfriend's mother. And it is in her home where I sometimes record my dances. Turn the camera the other way, and you can see all the plants (and that bright light). Three cheers for Kim in PA who recognized the house. Anyway, my girlfriend and I recorded a few dances while we were visiting. This is the first. Yeah!

Whoomp, There It Is
Before ending this week of posts, I must tell you some good news. I have been posting my dances for three whole months, and they are still drawing a crowd! My records indicate that I have had over 200,000 visitors so far. Thank you all for continuing to visit my site and for encouraging others to visit. Have a great weekend!

Time for another round of Jest the Guest

Yes, I have for you, today, my second guest dance video of the week! It is from someone we will call TW... like Tiger Woods, except that she is a white female who doesn't play golf. Anyway, I am sure you will like her dancing. Well, maybe I am not so sure. If you don't like it, then feel free to Jest the Guest! Heh, I like that name (Jest the Guest). Maybe I should copyright it. :)

(TW) Tribal Dance
I think that we proved, yesterday, that video has, indeed, killed the radio star. I mean, with only radio, you cannot see moves like mine... or my guests'. Well, I suppose you could always do your own moves while listening to the radio. Yep... enough of that wishy-washy talk. See you tomorrow!

I'd take off my robe if I had one

Hey, how did you like the Crazy Canucks? I was also rooting for the guy to take his robe off. Maybe he'll take it off in an encore performance? I hope so! But anyway, we can all guess what that hot Asian gal sees in that curly-haired guy. I'd guess she digs the moves, baby! Thanks, Crazy Canucks, for sending me your video.
Now back to Daily Dancer. Today's song was requested by Fletch, Vaughan, and Chang from The Edge Network in New Zealand. Enjoy!

Video Killed the Radio Star
On Monday, I shocked everyone with the reveal of the blue, inflatable, dolphin. People did give some good guesses as to what it was, though. Thanks for the curiousity! Tomorrow, I have another guest dance for you. See you then!

As promised, here is my second guest dance video, performed by the Crazy Canucks. Enjoy!

I'll be back tomorrow with a new dance of my own. I have a few more guest dance spots lined up over the next week. If you want to be on after that, then send me your videos! See ya.

Mmmmmm, Drano is tasty!

Well, I hope my dance to Poison kept you satisfied over the weekend. It certainly kept me satisfied... but I'm the dancer... But, seriously, would you really like to see me drink the Drano? Just imagine me dropping to the floor in pain while my insides disintegrate. I don't think I'd ever be able to dance again. :)
In today's video, I reveal what many of you have been waiting for. My girlfriend (who will start answering comments while I am at work) has hinted that you would know very soon. And if you have been following my comments, you will know what I am talking about. Just keep watching the video and be shocked and surprised! :)

Everybody Dance Now
Were your guesses correct? Do you feel whole now? Anyway, before I go, I must tell you that I took my first dance class on Saturday. So, I shall tell you. I took my first dance class on Saturday. Yeah! It was an introductory level Hip Hop class, and it was a lot of fun. It was a bit fast for me, though, and it left my leg muscles in pain, but all that will get better with practice. I plan to do two classes a week, at a cost of $12 a class. The cost is pretty reasonable, but it adds up pretty quickly. Anyway, even though I will try to work in the moves I learn in class, please don't expect me to be an expert dancer right away.
That's all I have to say for now! I'll be back tomorrow to introduce our second guest dance video.

Aww, the heck with safety!

On Wednesday, I had all my safety gear on, just to do the Safety Dance. Someone did point out, however, that I forgot to look at my hands and clap. Dang! Well, I wear no safety gear today. Nope! Instead, I deal directly with poison...

(That Girl Is) Poison
Wednesday night, I watched the creators of Crying While Eating on Jay Leno. Who would've thought that posting videos of people crying, while eating, would attract so many people? That got me to think... if they can get on the show, then I could probably get on there as well. Just imagine me up on stage... Maybe I'm just dreaming. Yeah.
Well, that is the end of another week in Daily Dancer land. Before I go, I will share with you a letter I received from a few fans (from Canada, I assume).
Dear DailyDancer,
Please accept this humble offering of a video. We also want to post a challenge to others out there who have thought of sending in a dance but have not - if we can do it so can you. Bring it on!!!
Crazy Cunucks
That's the letter! I'll put up the Crazy Cunucks video (i wonder if the misspelling was intentional) within the next few days. But, please send me your videos! I'm still waiting... See you Monday.

Wouldn't you want me on your hook?

So, maybe Monday's dance wasn't exactly breakdancing. However, when I was young, I thought that "breakdancing" was "the worm" and "the worm" was "breakdancing". And I loved doing the worm! I remember being 6 or 7 and dancing in front of my school to a Michael Jackson tune. I remember doing the worm, while my classmates all remembered my crotch-grab. Jacko would've been proud!
When doing anything in life, it is good to be safe. Dancing is no exception...

I want to learn how to play today's song on guitar. I think it would be great to play at parties. Yeah... Later!

But I'm a software developer!

You know what? I think being a cheerleader would be fun. Friday morning, as you may recall, I posted my dance for Straight Up. The beginning of the video showed some nice moves. The second half was not as exciting, but I kept it just so I could use that "slamming door" move at the very end. Nice! Friday night, my girlfriend and I saw some cheerleaders at a football game. Their dancing was really inspirational. Now, I've just gotta get me some pom-poms! :)
Today, I switch from cheerleading to breakdancing. Watch these moves!

Ice Ice Baby
Over the weekend, my girlfriend and I saw Hitch for the first time. And wow, it was a pretty awesome movie! Kevin James really gets his groove on. Yeah, now I know what people mean when they talk about the ear-cleaning and pizza dances. I can learn something from this.
Man, I need some ice, because it is really hot here. See you Wednesday.

Time for some straight up dancing!

On Wednesday, I gave a lesson in sex ed. Didn't I look so cool in my blue long johns and white glove? While being crazy, and incorporating props, is fun, I must return to doing some flat-out dancing. That nice judge (no, not Simon) from American Idol is going to help me...

Straight Up
I have just completed another web hosting move, so my site should work a little better, without all the side-effects of domain masking. I'm not finished yet, as I am still working on my new site design that will (hopefully) bring you easier access to all my content. Well, it is Friday, so I must tell you to have a fun, yet safe, weekend. Be back Monday!

Time for some sex, Ed!

What? Your name is not Ed? Or maybe it is. I don't know... Anyway, Ed stands for Education, and sex education is what I shall give you today. Pay attention, as you just might learn something...

Let's Talk About Sex
I hope that didn't freak you out too much. Maybe you found Monday's dance to Wannabe a little more sensible. Spice containers make great dancing props! Anyway, just like the Spice Girls, I'm outta here... See you Friday. :)

Sexing up the world

The fridge, the chair, the ball, ... Who knows what I'll sex up next?! Someone (mlejane) asked if my mother knows about this. The answer is "not yet". Don't tell... ;)
Today's video is a little late, but I hope it is something that will spice up your life. Enjoy!
